Yesterdays Heroes 1st Page

WHO ARE THEY?

In order to allow speedy downloads, we are creating additional yesterday's heroes pages, but will continue to archive the older ones.  This will be the last of entries on this page;

Willie KEegan

This Clyde, Oh. driver is shown beside his dad's #2, but drove some cars locally from our area.Willie Keegan

Delmas

Ted

Thes two are probably too obvious, but anyways they are from around 1992? Who are they?

Delmas Conley and Doc Harry Garrett

Al Franks

This driver was one of the original All-Stars circa 1967, and was a big winner, shown here I believe in the Fremont Fence Co. Car. #4- Al Franks

Sam Erwin

This was one of the "Good Guys", shown here in the "White Lightening Express"  Sam Erwin

Outlaw

McPeek

This (Larry McPeek) is the father of a current sprint driver and still an occasional competitor....father of Wayne McPeek

FizerJim FizerThis driver was a big winner in the 1960's and 1970's. Here he was in the Del Schmidlin #34 Alfater Chassis.  A big prize if anyone who can guess who the little boy is in the left picture. He later became a driver but is now retired. This driver of the #34 is Jim Fizer once from Powhattan Point and now from Clarington, Ohio.  The boy? My little brother Bryan Wolfe and also Dad Hilton.

Jim Linder

Who is this famous "old-timer" on the left  and his son?  The driver at the left won many features in Southern Ohio and throughout West Virginia.
